My Thoughts on Blogging

My Thoughts on Blogging

I like to read other people’s blogs. I’ve tried to start my own blog a few times and discovered that I don’t actually enjoy reading my own blog.  (Maybe you have seen my various starts at blogging.) The deal is that I want to be real, and sometimes, in blogging, I feel like I put on a mask. It’s like Facebook, which I recently gave up. You present what you want people to know about you, and everyone gets an idea about who you are, based on that. It’s not an accurate picture though. I want to post an accurate picture of who I am, where I am struggling,  and what I am learning along the way.

So, I am going to use this blog as a journal. It won’t always be profound or beautiful. It might even be mundane at at times. I am letting you in. That’s not easy for me, but I have had encouragement from several people to journal and to share my story. It is a miraculous story, not because I am an amazing person, but it’s because God is good.
